after calling "make" I'm getting an error:
make: execvp: ./sign.pl: Permission denied
make: *** [bootblock] Error 127

also after calling "make clean qemu" I'm getting an error:
make: execvp: ./sign.pl: Permission denied
make: *** [bootblock] Error 127

should it be like that?

This means that you have no rights to execute sign.pl
You can change the permissions by executing: chmod a+x sign.pl
This will solve your issue

Thank you.

Now I ran: "make clean qemu" and i got the following error:

***
*** Error: Couldn't find a working QEMU executable.
*** Is the directory containing the qemu binary in your PATH
*** or have you tried setting the QEMU variable in Makefile?
***
serial mon:stdio -hdb fs.img xv6.img -smp 1 -m 512
make: serial: Command not found
make: [qemu] Error 127 (ignored)

How do i fix that?

Please make sure that you have qemu (VM). If you don't, you can install it by executing:
sudo apt-get install qemu
If you running 64 bit linux, you must define the location of qemu (edit Makefile and uncomment line 54: QEMU = qemu-system-x86_64)

To be honest, I've been using the computers at the university.
