Assignment 1 FAQ

Do not place your credentials in a public place, not on github, nor offer public access to it on S3! It's explicitly mentioned in the assignment description!

There are various solution, some of which: 1. As mentioned in the assignment description, compress the jar files and the credentials with a password. 2. Follow the instruction on the bootstrapping tutorial. Where you do not upload the credentials to S3 at all, and you can keep your jar files private. The bootstrapping script which the local application uses to create the initialize the manager, contains the credentials and makes them available to the manager instance, which in turn reads them and makes them available to the worker instances in the same manner.

As an extra precaution, you can use the tutorial written by your classmate Asaf Cohen to prevent actions to be preformed on your account from outside of Israel.
