We have prepared invitation letters to participants from abroad. It is advisable to present the invitation at passport control. The letter will be sent by e-mail by April 22.

Administrative/technical/payments/cabs/lodgings questions will be held by Ina. You may send an e-mail, call her, or simply get hold of her at or near the conference site.

The conference will take place at the BGU Marcus campus (see map) in Beer Sheva. The Mathematics Department is in Bldg. 58. The conference will be held in Auditorium 202 of Bldg. 37 (the hi-tech bldg).

TECHNICAL ISSUES

CABS
There are plenty of taxi stands in Beer Sheva, for example Tehila (08-6209090) and Matti (08-6417171).

RESTAURANTS
A list of restaurants in Beer Sheva is available here.

DEPARTURE
Check out at the University Guesthouse is until 11AM, and at Aviyah Campus Towers until 10AM. Participants leaving on Thursday are asked to bring their luggage with them, and we will store it at the university for the day. They will be picked up to the airport from the university.

CLIMATE
April-May in Israel is usually warm, and Beer Sheva is in the desert, which is even warmer. The lecture room and the lodgings are air-conditioned. We recommend short sleeves. It almost never rains there at this time of the year. However, some evenings may be cool, so bring a light coat. IMPORTANT: Bring a hat and sun cream. If you join the excursion we recommend bringing good walking shoes.
