Exams: On December 25 at 18:00 we plan to hold a midterm.
It will count for 20% of the exams grade if the grade is higher than
that of the final exam and 10% otherwise. The final will count for the
other 80% or 90%, respectively.
-
Homework:
There will be four assignments to be submitted on Mondays,
January 5, 12, 19, and 26. The final grade f in the
course will be determined by the exams grade e and the
homework grade h as follows: If e<56 then
f=e; otherwise, f=max{e,0.9e+0.12h}.
