Dr. Andrei Sharf I am an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department, Ben-Gurion University. Previous to that I was a Visiting Associate Professor at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) China. I did my PostDoc with Prof. Nina Amenta at the Institute for Data Analysis and Visualization (IDAV), University of California at Davis. My PhD was carried under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Cohen-Or and Prof. Ariel Shamir at the School of Computer Science, Tel-Aviv University. My
research is in the realm of Computer Graphics and Visual Computing. I
concentrate on geometry processing 3D modeling and deep learning. A major
part of my research focuses on techniques and algorithms for 3D scanning and
point processing (reconstruction, understanding, etc.). I am also interested
in interactive techniques and machine learning/deep learning techniques for
CG. |
