The project

Hopefully a starting point for a masters/PhD research
  • Applicative:
    • Read a paper
    • Software implementation, experiments, conclusions
    • Better: learn something new
  • Theoretical:
    • Read (parts of) few papers
    • Improve on existing results, pose and attempt to answer a new question, …
    • Possible fallbacks: compare techniques or results, complete (or correct) partial proofs, generalize existing results,…
  • Preferably – deal with privacy problems related to your background
  • How it should go:
    • Meet instructors to discuss and choose directions, followup meetings
    • Present project at special meeting
