The project
Hopefully a starting point for a masters/PhD research- Applicative:
- Read a paper
- Software implementation, experiments, conclusions
- Better: learn something new
- Theoretical:
- Read (parts of) few papers
- Improve on existing results, pose and attempt to answer a new question, …
- Possible fallbacks: compare techniques or results, complete (or correct) partial proofs, generalize existing results,…
- Preferably – deal with privacy problems related to your background
- How it should go:
- Meet instructors to discuss and choose directions, followup meetings
- Present project at special meeting
