Grading Policy (details)

The weight of the homeworks in the final grade will be 30%. Students who miss the homework will receive the grade 0 for this homework. We will make exceptions only in cases of extended army service or hospitalization. Students who receive exemptions from some of the homework assignments will be evaluated based on their other assignments.


Let H be the average grade of the homeworks,
    E -- the average grade of the final exam.
    F -- the final grade



F will be calculated by :
 
   if  H>55  and E>55 
     then  F = max(E , 70% of F + 30% of H)
     else  min(E , H) -  failed
