Dates:

Midterm: Sunday 6.7.08 updated!

Organization:

1. Class notes are available, online on the course site.

2. It is mandatory that students come to class with hard copies of the class notes.

3. Homework: There are small weekly assignments. Submission of all is mandatory.
Students who do not submit all assignments will not pass the course.

4. The DrScheme system is available for downloading from the web (see the links at the course web site).

5. Tests: There will be a midterm quiz and a final test.

Grading:

Pass condition for the course: Passing the final test.

HomeWork weight = is [20%]
Unless (HomeWork grade – Test grade)>=30; in this case
HomeWork weight = is [(20%) * 30 / (HomeWork grade – Test grade)]

Midterm quiz weight: 20%.

Test weight = 1 – HomeWork weight – midterm weight.

Final Grade = HomeWork weight * HomeWork grade + Midterm weight * MidTerm grade + Test weight * Test grade
