The LinkedList safeEquals(...) method
In last Sunday (3.1.10) Shay's class (formerly Tal's), the code for the safeEquals(
)
procedure in class LinkedList was omitted. Below you can find the code (try to think,
why is the method private? why is it static?).
- private static boolean safeEquals(Object o1, Object o2){
- if (o1 == null) return o2 == null;
- else return o1.equals(o2);
- }

Assignment #3 - Grades
Grades for assignment 3 are posted in the submission system.
Here you can see the detailed comments and how the grade is composed and what
tests were performed.
Appeals that are submitted in the submission system within two weeks will be processed.
Bonus points:
We allocated 5 points for performance and 5 points for ideas and describing them.
If your submission did not work on all tests of Task 6 within 7 seconds then you
do not really deserve any bonus points.
Describing your ideas: does not mean writing down a description of the
various functions in the submission. It means more than that.
If your submission performance was too slow because of hidden functions
(that were not automatically applied in our tests) then please get in touch and we will
remeasure your bonus points on the given test set.
