We went to a friends’ wedding yesterday. These are good friends of ours, and I was happy to go, with one exception: The music. Israeli wedding are caught in a time warp that causes the DJ to play the same 80’s songs over and over again. I hated the 80’s when it was actually the 80’s. I still hate them. The Seattle grunge era was a breath or fresh air. What went wrong? Can the fraken 80’s be finally over, please?!

At least now I’m back to my collection of Celtic prog-trad (that’s a real genre, I’m not kidding) and old rock. Give me some drunken lullabies and I’ll be happy. Ireland rocks!
