- Q: What is a Redundancy?
- A: the definition for Redundancy is the number of bits (entropy) required to represent all possible words MINUS the number of bits (entropy) required to represent the only legal words

- Q: On question 3, to which common standards you mean?
- A: Choose a general common standards, preferably standards that are not learned in the course. You can look here and here for more info.
- Q: On question 8, it is not clear what we should do. Do we use the bank example or make up our own?
- A: The question meant: inventing another example similar to the Bank example and
represent it using the formal notation of table 10.2
- Q: Speaking of which, I can't find this table 10.2
- A: Table 10.2 is on p. 325 of Stallings.
