New book

I am the editor-in-chief of the journal,

A new book

Complex Analysis and Operator Theory,

published by Birkhauser. Papers should be submitted via the Online Manuscript Submission, Review and Tracking System of the journal.

The conference

A DAY OF NEW ASPECTS OF (HYPER)COMPLEX ANALYSIS AND APPLICATIONS

will take place on February 8, 2016. The homepage of the conference is here.

The conference

FUNCTION THEORY AND OPERATOR THEORY: INFINITE DIMENSIONAL AND FREE SETTING.

took place during the period June 27, June 30 2011. The homepage of the conference is here.

A one day conference entitled

NEW ASPECTS OF OPERATOR THEORY AND APPLICATIONS

took place on May 2, 2010. The homepage of the conference is here.

A two day conference on stochastic analysis and financial mathematics took place at Ben-Gurion University on December 2 and 3, 2008. Here is the homepage of the conference.

  • Present position: Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (Full Professor since November 97).

  • A few academic facts : After highschool at the Lycée Voltaire and the École Yavné, Paris (Here is the link to the Association des anciens élèves.), two years of Mathématiques supérieures and Mathématiques Spéciales at the Lycée Louis-Le-Grand. Then, I graduated in 78 from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications. Here is the link to the Association des anciens élèves. I did my PhD thesis at the Feinberg Graduate School of the Weizmann Institute under the supervision of Harry Dym.

  • Research Interests:

My current research interests may be divided into five main directions:

    1) Schur analysis in the setting of slice-hyperholomorphic functions.

    2) Infinite dimensional analysis in the white noise space setting, and free analysis.

    3) Rational functions and applications to linear system theory and wavelets.

    4) Schur analysis in the setting of bicomplex functions.

    5) Operator theory and Riemann surfaces.

More can be found on my research interests in my book: Algorithme de Schur, espaces à noyau reproduisant et théorie des systèmes. Panoramas et Synthèses, volume 6, Société mathématique de France (1998).
