The department of Mathematics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (Be'er-Sheva, Israel) invites applications for one or more post-doctoral research fellowships in Number Theory, Algebraic Geometry, Arithmetic Geometry, Galois Theory and related fields, that may become available for the academic year 2001-2002.
The position is initially for one year but may be extendible depending on the availability of funds. Depending on the type of position post-doctoral fellows will receive a (tax-free) grant in Israeli currency roughly equivalent to between $ 1350 / month and $ 1800 /month, plus some travel and relocation costs. They will also get assistance with finding housing in Israel, etc. Priority wil be given to applications received by March 15, 2001.
