LSRT: (large scale rural telephone)

research group in Computational Geometry:
we are researching the field of locating a large scale telephone systems in a rural areas,

spesific reaserch:
our research team is intrested in 3 spesific topics:

• Terrain Simplification: defining algorithms for the following problem: given a set (S) of points in 3D (usaly grid base)  we want to chose a sub set (H) of S in such way that the triangulation of H will look like the triangulation of S, and H will B as small as possible.
• GIS - clustering: defining algorithms for:  constructing formal input from GIS DB, using this input to locate a LSRT.
• Teoretical issuse:  defining teoretical algorithms in CG (facility location) such as 2 tower.
