Andrei Sharf I am a faculty member at the Computer Science Department, Ben-Gurion University. Previous to that I was a Visiting Associate Professor at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) China. I did my PostDoc with Prof. Nina Amenta at the Institute for Data Analysis and Visualization (IDAV), University of California at Davis. My PhD was carried under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Cohen-Or and Prof. Ariel Shamir at the School of Computer Science, Tel-Aviv University. My
research is in the realm of Computer Graphics; I concentrate on geometry
processing and 3D modeling. A major part of my research is focused on various
techniques and algorithms for reconstruction and filtering of imperfect
scanned data. I am also interested in interactive techniques, topology,
parallel data structures on the GPU and large scale 3D urban modeling. |
