Hardware Cluster
The Cluster including Electronics, Electrooptics, and Communications, is a coherent framework of multi-disciplinary activities.
The cluster include the following disciplines: mathematical-oriented areas such as signal processing, control and communications, physical-oriented areas such as electrooptics, electromagnetics, micro- and nano- electronics and photonics, power electronics, and computer -oriented areas such as computer architecture, artificial intelligence, computer communications, and Internet applications.
All these disciplines are spread among the various departments and units that constitute the Hardware bundle, among them the Electrical and Computer Engineering department, Communication systems Engineering department, the Electrooptics unit, and the VLSI center.
