Alon Building

The Lynne and William Frankel Center for Computer Science is an influential Israeli forum for research and innovation. The center provides an arena for researchers, students, and experts in the field to come together and exchange ideas, begin new collaborations, and discuss various topics in computer science. Along with the Frankel Center's dedication towards science and academia, it is committed to playing a role in the development of the Negev by establishing a vital and thriving research community at Ben-Gurion University.

Located in the new Alon Building for Hi-tech at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, the center regularly holds leading seminars and special events featuring faculty and guests based in the discipline of computer science. At different times during the year, the Frankel Center offers unique courses by visiting professors and leading industries, such as IBM and Microsoft. Local and international students are also welcome to participte in dynamic internships through the Frankel Center, enabling them to gain valuable research experience in the field.

The Lynne and William Frankel Center for Computer Science was established in 1984 in honor of Lynne and William Frankel by their family and friends. Since its establishment, the Frankel Center was able to expand its activities and begin a new seminar series through the generous support of Prof. Jeffrey and Holly Ullman.
